Making Grassroots Social Change in a Community
For this introductory film on grassroots social change, I translated a script centered on systems thinking and community development into a visually driven animated explainer. My role included storyboarding, developing styleframes, building the animatic, animation, and contributing to the sound design throughout the piece.
The challenge of this project was communicating nuanced social concepts in a way that felt accessible, human, and grounded. Through motion design, visual metaphors, and pacing, the film aims to reflect the organic and adaptive nature of community-led change while maintaining clarity and emotional resonance.
Created for Bright Moon Trust as part of an educational series inspired by Bahá’í-informed principles of development and grassroots change initiatives in Northern Australia.
